MODIFIED REMOVAL POSTER (16X24" Unframed)
A new version of the iconic poster, used to publicly notify Japanese Americans of their removal from their homes, apartments and farms. With the exception of the words, PERSONS OF JAPANESE ANCESTRY, every word of government text has replaced by 527 Japanese surnames of families and individuals sent to the 10 concentration camps created by the United States government. The original poster was created by Kevin J. Miyazaki, titled, “Persons,” in 2019.
100% of the post-production profits (about $10) will be donated to Densho.
